Sophisticated luxury in Cobham
Our cosmopolitan couple work in the city and retreat to their family home in leafy Cobham. They wanted a kitchen that reflected their sophisticated lifestyle encompassing luxurious materials and refined design.
Handmade cabinetry with thoughtful detailed elements makes entertaining and everyday use a pleasure. From hanging glasses to a coffee station with bifold doors to hide away small appliances. Keeping the room looking as sleek as the expertly sprayed modern slab style design of the cabinet doors creating a contemporary feel.
Serge from Farrow & Ball gives deep blue hues on the cabinets, elevating the vein running through the imposing worktop from Sapien Stone. Whilst warmth is created using Brasilica Safari, a natural sustainable wooden worktop from Spekva. This in turn pays homage to the beautifully wood stained interiors found on all our bespoke cabinetry. Handles by Armac Martin in an antique satin finish adds a contrast to the cabinetry. Combined with push to open units for a minimalist feel whilst also offering a dynamic look throughout.
For seamless entertainment, a Quooker tap offers everything from boiling to filtered still and sparkling water, finished in antique brass to complement the statement chandeliers and cabinet handles. Appliances such as individual fridge and freezer are hidden away behind large format cabinetry, leaving the tall wine cooler to add effortless style. Gaggenau ovens inspired by the professional kitchen offers a quiet aesthetic with impressive culinary potential. While a statement Bora Professional hob with induction, downward draft extraction and furniture mounted controls creates a seamless transition to the worktop without the need of an overhead hood. Ensuring the hub of the home exudes timeless luxury.
Piccadilly Limestone honed finish floor tiles from Ca' Pietra boasts shell and fossil markings, adding a natural elegance. Carried through to the utility, office, and hallway for a striking and impactful statement to this stately Cobham home.
To compliment the sleek kitchen design, we changed the bifold doors with fewer (larger format) panels with a sleek frame. Allowing more light to enter the deep room for the family to feel connected to and enjoy their leafy surroundings.
