Bamboo teal in Cobham

Our client wanted a cool and contemporary design for their Family bathroom in Cobham. As the room offered a spacious setting, the brief was to create an intimate atmosphere with a splash of colour.

By incorporating deeper toned tiles in teal on opposite walls, the room is brought together creating pockets of tranquility. The teal tiles serve as a stunning backdrop to the House of Piccadilly freestanding bathtub, while a statement black rubber vanity unit by Dansani breaks up the long wall between the WC and shower.

The linear design of the teal mosaics accentuates the height of the space, making the room feel more in proportion and offers a contrast against the natural tones of the brushed stone tiles, both from Ca' Pietra. A sleek Matki One Enclosure with its slimline profile allows for a generous showering space without feeling domineering.

The design is enhanced with brushed black brassware from Axor complimenting a heated towel radiator by Zehnder in the same finish. Layered lighting offers different scenescape settings utilising recessed LEDs in the shower recess and under the vanity unit.  Pendants from Mullan Lighting accentuate the bathing area.

The bespoke grey tinted mirror enhances the calming and serene feel of this luxurious bathroom while adding depth to the space.
