There are some awards that feel particularly special.
In 2026, Bathroom & Kitchen Eleven was named Bathroom Retailer of the Year at the kbbreview Retail & Design Awards.
For our team, it is probably the proudest industry recognition we have received so far.
We have been fortunate enough to collect a number of design awards and nominations over the years, but this one felt different.
Bathroom Retailer of the Year recognises the business as a whole – the showroom, the design team, the service, the processes behind the scenes and, ultimately, the experience we create for our clients.
As our founder and managing director Ben Setterfield, put it:
“For us, it meant a huge amount because it was a team award. We’ve won design awards before, but they’ve often been individual achievements. This felt completely different because the whole team was involved.”
That sums it up perfectly.
A proud moment for the whole BK11 team
The kbbreview Retail & Design Awards are among the best-known awards in the UK kitchen and bathroom industry, with Bathroom Retailer of the Year recognising outstanding independent bathroom retailers.
Even being shortlisted was something we were immensely proud of.
Winning it made the evening something none of us will forget.
But the award also represents something much bigger than one night.
Over the past few years, we have continued to refine what Bathroom & Kitchen Eleven stands for.
We have continued to invest in our Long Ditton bathroom and kitchen showroom, developed our wellness-led bathroom offering and continued growing our handmade kitchen division.
At the same time, we have deliberately remained focused on a fully project-managed service and doing everything we can to provide the highest standards end-to-end.
Ben explained that approach when speaking to kbbreview:
“We’re not a huge team, but we’re very effective and very aligned. Everyone genuinely wants to keep pushing standards higher.”
What matters most
Bathroom & Kitchen Eleven specialise in bespoke luxury bathrooms and handmade kitchens across Surrey and South West London, but beautiful spaces are only part of what we do.
The experience around the project matters just as much.
From the first conversation in our Long Ditton showroom through design, product selection, installation and aftercare, our aim is to remove the complexity that normally comes with renovating a bathroom or kitchen.
That is why this particular award means so much to us. It recognises not simply how a finished bathroom looks, but the standards and people behind it.
And we certainly don’t see it as a reason to stand still.
As Ben says:
“We’re constantly looking at marginal gains. It’s never about standing still.”
Winning Bathroom Retailer of the Year 2026 is a milestone we are incredibly proud of.
More than anything, though, it belongs to the team who make BK11 what it is – and to the clients who continue to trust us with their homes.
