Sleek family bathroom in Thames Ditton

Our clients were after a sleek Scandinavian design for both their family and ensuite bathrooms. They wanted something with a twist, to complement their modern house in Thames Ditton. The room was a good layout, just needed a sleek Scandi injection!

Light colour wood and calm tones were used in this design. Bringing in a Scandi accent and creating a sleek feel. Large natural stone effect tiles are used on the walls, as well as partly painted sections using Strong White by Farrow & Ball. Layered lighting around the bath plinth, and the recessed shelves allows the user to create an ambient feel.

Within the recessed shelves, in the shower areas and above the WC, we used Carter Ecru tiles by Ca ‘Pietra. This creates a depth and works with the Metroplitan Caliza tiles by Porcelanosa. A frameless wetroom panel screen by Matki keeps the room sleek and fuss free.

The double basin unit finished with a gloss mink colour, complements the calm tones of the design. While the sleek taps from Vado add elegance. The large mirror cabinet and double drawer unit, allows for lots of storage.

The quirky heated towel tree by Smedbo, complements the Scandi feel and is a great addition to the Zehnder Chime radiator.

The graceful bath is perfect for relaxation and adds a focal point to the design.
