Our clients came to us wanting a statement master ensuite for their home in Surbiton. They were mindful of the age of the property and wanted a design that would be sympathetic to the building. However, they were keen to show their colourful and quirky style too. The current layout of the room didn’t work, with the existing bath sticking out in the middle of the room.
The generous size of the room allowed for two separate basins to be installed, giving the couple their own space, while creating hidden storage for their toiletries. Extra storage has been added by incorporating a large built in cupboard behind the door entering the room. We increased the footprint and opened up the shower area, using white metro tiles gives a light airy feel – making for a pleasurable showering experience. Red metro tiles behind the basins add a striking look against the white units and against the white tiles.
To add to the grandeur of the statement master ensuite, we added a feature chandelier over the bath. The slipper bath from BC Designs itself is versatile and can be painted to any colour.
