Elegant blue-black ensuite in Oxshott

We created an elegant blue-black ensuite in Oxshott, with marble veins running throughout the room. Complementing the brushed black brassware by AXOR.

Our client came to us looking to update their sons ensuite. The brief was for a soft masculine vibe with a contemporary-classic and luxurious feel. To achieve this, we used a classic roll top bath from BC Designs, painting the sides in blue-black (No. 95) by Farrow & Ball for a contemporary look.

The vein in the marble tiles reach across the room, tying in the blue-black tone across the different areas. The light element of the large format tile, balances the dark tones of the furniture. While the white metro tiles in the shower and behind the bath area, are enhanced with black grout and stacked vertically rather than the traditional horizontal installation typically used for this tile.

Our clients wanted the shower space to be user friendly and seamless. We built out the wall to incorporate a recess shelf, keeping the shampoos off the floor! By bringing out the shower screen, we could add a rectangle shower tray, giving the user more space to shower in. The bespoke black framed shower screen completes the look of the design.

We added a heated towel rail in a matt black finish. Rather than using a traditional looking radiator, we used a contemporary ladder style, which looks striking against the white wall.
