We paired Terrazzo tiles with stacked Prairie Terra tiles from Mandarin Stone to create a bold and colourful space, as per the brief from our couple from Wimbledon.
The existing set up housed a shower, basin and WC. To add a bath, the room needed complete spatial planning. This included moving the basin to the opposite side of the room and shifting the WC away from the window. Allowing the bath and shower to sit snugly at the far end of the room.
The room lacked storage and counter space. We added a dual drawer unit from Dansani with a deck mounted basin from Vado placed on a solid diamond white quartz countertop, elevating user experience and balancing the room.
To hide pipework and the cistern, we built out the wall creating mid-height shelving clad in large format Terrazzo tiles. The earthy and slight pinkish tones compliment the terracotta tones of the slim tiles. Perfect for plants and candles to create ambiance.
White brassware, basin and countertop adds a freshness to the design and looks striking against the terrazzo and Faded Terracotta paint by Farrow & Ball.
Clever spatial planning has transformed this family bathroom into a fun, vibrant and practical space.
