The inspiration for this wild botanical design, came from our clients brief for a modern take on a pink floral look.
The existing family bathroom had a very small corner shower squeezed beside the bath, making the area fussy. Our clients’ wanted a spacious shower while keeping a separate bath. To create this space, we removed a built in cupboard, on the opposite wall, and moved the WC from under the window. Placing it where the cupboard once stood. This gives the user more privacy, as not overlooking a window.
We placed a freestanding bath by Ashton & Bentley up towards the middle of the room. Creating a seamless design with a floor standing bath tap in brushed nickel. This allowed plenty of space for a walk in shower. A recessed shelf hides the pipe work, and provides a shelf for shower bottles to be easily accessible. The main body of the room is tiled with large format Bianco matt tiles by Minoli. With the recessed part in wild botanical pink tiles by Ca ‘Pietra, bringing a meadow feel to the design.
A recessed shelf has also been created above the WC, with the wall built out to hide the cistern. This complements the shower and basin areas, with the Wild Botanical tiles tying the design together.
The double push to open drawer basin unit by Dansani, provides lots of storage while adding a warm feel with a Nordic Oak finish. Brushed nickel brassware elevates the modern take on the floral brief.
