Traditional Kitchens in Surrey and South West London
Heritage design for modern life. Kitchens where period detail meets everyday practicality.
HONOURING TRADITION
A traditional kitchen celebrates craftsmanship from another era—moulded cornices, raised panels, decorative pilasters, and the kind of detailing that speaks to quality and permanence. These are kitchens designed to complement period architecture while serving contemporary family life.
We handcraft every traditional kitchen in our workshop using techniques passed down through generations. From hand-painted finishes in heritage colours to carved corbels and ornate hardware, each element is chosen to honour the style while creating a space that works for today.
What defines traditional:
- Period details and architectural integrity
- Rich finishes and classical proportions
- Complements heritage properties beautifully
- Timeless appeal that transcends fashion

DESIGNED AROUND HOW YOU LIVE
Period aesthetics shouldn’t mean compromising on how a kitchen functions. We balance architectural authenticity with the realities of modern cooking, entertaining, and family routines. Integrated appliances sit discreetly behind period-style doors. Storage is planned around how you actually use your space. Lighting is layered for both ambience and task.
The result is a kitchen that looks like it’s always belonged while working better than you imagined possible.
HANDCRAFTED 20 MINUTES FROM OUR SHOWROOM
Traditional joinery requires skill, patience, and proper equipment. Our workshop in neighbouring Cobham allows us to craft everything from decorative mouldings to hand-carved details, all under one roof with complete oversight.
Raised panel doors are built using mortise and tenon joints. Cornices and plinths are shaped on-site. Finishes are applied by hand and inspected at every stage. Because we’re local, we can make adjustments mid-project without delay, ensuring your traditional kitchen is built exactly as intended.
CONSIDERED FROM EVERY ANGLE
Your designer doesn’t just plan cabinetry—they consider appliance placement, worktop materials that suit the period, hardware that feels authentic, paint colours that complement your home’s character, and lighting that enhances both function and atmosphere.

BEYOND THE KITCHEN ITSELF
Traditional design can flow through adjoining spaces—pantries with floor-to-ceiling shelving, boot rooms with tongue-and-groove panelling, or butler’s pantries with glass-fronted display cabinets. Same attention to period detail, same handcrafted quality.
