At Bathroom and Kitchen Eleven, our team is committed to making conscious choices to improve our impact on the planet and support our local community in the heart of Surrey.

We understand that small changes collectively lead to significant change. From choosing eco-friendly products in the studio to seeking suppliers that share in our vision, we’re always expanding our efforts to contribute to a greener world we can all enjoy.

Crafted from Biolux®, our exclusive 100% sustainable eco-friendly alternative to natural stone, the Biome range is created for the eco-conscious and curated for harmony; a selection of modern classic freestanding baths and complementing countertop basins and freestanding washbasins.

Calidris furniture consists of two different types of wood panels – the veneered front is laid on particleboard and the smooth front is a lacquered MDF board. The more sustainable choice here is the veneered front on particleboard. Here, the particleboard consists of 2/3 recycled wood. This also applies to wooden worktops and wooden shelves.

All new wood used in the boards for Calidris furniture comes from sustainable forestry in the EU. 93% of all wood materials in our furniture are certified with full traceability, and the goal is of course 100%.

HANSGROHE

By 2030, we plan to convert our entire water-bearing product range for the hansgrohe and AXOR brands to water- and energy-saving technologies. In future, they will need to be part of every energy-related renovation and every energy-efficient new build. We are dedicated to working with others to make the right emission-based changes in bathrooms and kitchens.

Whether your home is a haven for all things consciously sourced or you’re someone trying to do that bit more, the Ca’ Pietra collection has got you covered. From carbon-neutral tiles created in cutting edge workshops to reclaimed tiles giving materials a second chance at life, we’re always looking at ways to make our tiles as eco as possible.

By choosing Bulb (a 100% renewable electricity provider) as our energy company, we have lowered our carbon footprint annually by 586 tonnes of CO2.

water efficient

WATER-EFFICIENT

We are part of the Refill campaign which aims to stop millions of single-use plastic bottles being purchased – and in turn, the campaign helps to prevent plastic pollution from entering our rivers and seas.

REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE

We’ve switched to products that help us reduce our consumption of plastics, paper and other materials.

We use Homethings cleaning products, Nespresso as our coffee of choice and we’ve set all our printers to double-sided only.

TOILET TWINNING

We twinned our WC with Kabaya, North Kivu in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Latitude: -1.34037 Longitude: 29.40133 

By twinning our toilet, we are helping to fund a project in a community that will enable families to build a basic toilet, have access to clean water and learn about hygiene. We encourage all clients to adopt this initiative for their bathroom project.

OUR COMMUNITY

We’re proud to have been part of the Long Ditton community for over 15 years, and we actively support schemes in our local area including donating prizes to local schools, such as Long Ditton St. Mary’s C of E, Long Ditton Infant & Nursery School and Thames Ditton Infant School.

We also sponsor the Colts (children from age 6 – 18 with over 50 junior teams) at Surbiton Hockey Club and as part of our support, in 2019 and continue to maintain, we installed a water fountain near the pitch in connection with JointhePipe Foundation.

We are proud to be sponsors of Cobham rugby club who are an English rugby union club located in the village of Cobham, Surrey. We love being part of a thriving local community that caters for all ages and nice to think we are contributing towards the clubs continued success.
